Discover a selection of abbeys and castles within driving distance while nearby Dumfries also has plenty to see.

What happens on the day?
Upon arrival at Friars Carse Estate, you’ll be welcomed by a member of the friendly team and shown to your room for the night. Once settled in you’re free to spend your time as you please. On site, you can make full use of the hotel facilities or wander the beautiful and extensive grounds. There’s plenty to see further afield, with a host of historic locations within driving distance. Each morning of your stay you’ll enjoy a tasty breakfast to start the day ahead in style.Participant guidelines

Availability
This experience is available seven days a week November to February, Sunday to Thursday March to October, subject to availability. We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability. Your experience will be for two nights. Check into the hotel will be after 15.00 and departure by 11.00 on the morning you depart.Entries
